Physicians
Kelly Mandagere, MD
Dr. Mandagere has
been board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes and
metabolism since 1998. She received her medical degree
from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and
stayed at KU Medical Center to complete her residency
and fellowship training. Although trained in all areas
of endocrinology, her clinical interests include
diabetes, metabolic bone disease, calcium disorders and
parathyroid disease. Throughout her career, Dr.
Mandagere has worked extensively with insulin pump
therapy and been involved in clinical research relating
to diabetes management and cardiovascular disease. She
has also worked on quality improvement initiatives
within the hospital advancing glycemic control. Prior to
becoming a physician, Dr. Mandagere obtained a Masters
of Science in Nutrition. In the years leading up to
medical school, she worked as a registered dietitian
counseling patients and working to educate physicians
and health professionals.
Dr. Mandagere is a member of the American Association of
Clinical Endocrinologists, the American Diabetes
Association and The Endocrine Society. In her spare
time, she enjoys spending time with her family and is an
avid gardener and hiker.
